The Lost Vampire Journals: Book 1 by Helen Allan
4.0
This is not some sparkly vampire romance. With nods to Bram Stoker, the vampire in this book takes a decidedly darker turn with no romance whatsoever. This is a guy you want to stay away from!
Josie wants to be a chef, and much of the story follows her culinary aspirations interspersed with her reading from a journal she found and believes to be poorly written fiction. Until she meets a guy named Hunter, and some really weird stuff starts happening. Suddenly she doesn't know who to trust and things just go from bad to worse.
Part 1 of 4, this ends in a serious cliffhanger. Short, quick read.
