Secrets for the Mad
by Dodie Clark
A good quick read. You won’t be disappointed if you are a dodie fan and it’s pretty much what I expected it would be. It will be much better for its target audience which is teenage girls. It is still a great window into the difficulties of today’s world, problems, and viewing the world through Dodies eyes is uncut and direct. The chapter are a whirlwind and follow little order or coherence, perhaps like the author. I think I wanted more dark times and stories in the book and more lessons learned from her ‘madness’, however her music as art is the best way to experience this and I look forward to seeing her and her work transform into and as a result of her journey.
