I really wanted to like this book, and I almost dnf’d, but I took a break and found the second half to be much better.
I could not get over the whole Bachelor/Bachelorette plot in the beginning and made the whole premise too far fetched for me (even in the end). However, Charlie as a character and the way the author depicts his anxiety and overall mental health in his journey to understand himself was the saving grace for this book.
