While this is technically now an unofficial Starwars story, it just proves that there are creatives that exist who can truly write a masterpiece that expands the Starwars universe and doesn’t need to involve Palpatine or Skywalker. Not that I don’t love those characters. It is just refreshing to read something truly original that is unfortunately deemed “legend” thanks to big D! This is hands down one of the best novels I have read to date. There are very few books I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could and this is one of them. Bane is exactly what I expect of a Dark Sith Lord. He is intense, large, solid muscle, pure evil, and crazy intelligent. The cover artwork is giving Dr. Manhattan X Kratos and I am not mad at that at all. Reading his back story and transformation into who to what he inevitably becomes known for was a thing of beauty and the ending of this book was wild. Even if you are not a fan of Starwars, I think really anyone could read this and be blown away.
