Blue Period, Vol. 6 by Tsubasa Yamaguchi

hopeful tense medium-paced

5.0

This volume was SO GOOD!!! Like. Truly, impeccable vibes. I was absolutely riveted from beginning to end.

Seeing Yatora’s whole journey during the second exam was so rewarding 😭 I love my son so much. He was so stressed his body was legit collapsing. I wanted to give him such a big hug.

But for real one of the elements I liked about this volume was truly understanding Yatora’s vision for his painting and sketchbook from start to finish. The different realizations he had throughout the process were shown so perfectly.

Also. Yotasuke…my boy…was back 😭💖 I could weep from that alone. The rivalry between him and Yatora truly warms my heart. I love seeing them interact so much. I would risk it all for them.

All in all. A phenomenal volume. I can’t wait to continue the series!
