"Beauty and the Beast" by Jan Brett is a classic telling of the loved Beauty and the Beast. This story is somewhat different from what you may have heard but it is still just as enchanting. Published in 1989 this story was composed by Jan after she read other versions of Beauty and the Beast. The classic fairy tale is timeless and loved by many children. In a classroom it would be awesome to have multiple versions to show your students and have them read them all.
