A decent story idea but several things bothered me about this book. There are a couple instances of swear words like god, hell and etc. That is completely unnecessary.
Also the attitude of the main character toward her family is rude, selfish and condescending.
The second main character is a 18 year old
man who is interacting with a 12ish year old girl, which creeped me out. That 18 year old man also manipulated and lied to this child to get what he wanted.
I will not be putting this series on the list to read for any of my children.
