I really enjoyed the Dark Elements series, but I never got around to reading the prequel. I also love Armentrout, so I was really excited to get to this one.
I was familiar with the characters based on the series, but it was nice to see this "origin" story for them.
I enjoyed the characters, the plot, the pacing, and the writing.
Not my favorite by Armentrout, but it was well done and enjoyable.
