We Have TIll Monday is the follow on from We Have Till Dawn by the ultimate spinner of words, Cara Dee. I can say with all honesty that I have not read a book written this deep, or never had I enjoyed and obsessed over a story quite like We Have Till Monday. I was instantly intrigued by the blurb and the idea I had was totally different to how the story was expressed. Each character was so different from the other, with different ideas, upbringings and whole outlooks on their lives. But oh did they fit together flawlessly. They complemented each other perfectly, and one together they could give each other exactly what they each needed. The interaction was a beautiful thing to read, fascinating to witness and learn the varied dynamics of their unique relationship.
Cara Dee, I cannot write down specifics of what made me fall in love with this story. It was not one thing. It was everything. From the capital letter of the first word of the first chapter. To the full stop at the end. Everything was packed into this story and the wildly different base of the relationship between Anthony, August and Camden is one I cannot get enough of. August is the protector, Anthony is the nurturer and the multi-faceted Camden is the young one that just begs to be cared for, which speaks to every cell in August and Anthony’s DNA.
We Have Till Monday will take you on a journey you never anticipated, nor will you ever forget it. A story worthy of many re-reads, and I can honestly say it is perfection in print. 5 stars.
