Started out super interesting but got so slow in the middle. It was excruciating to read but it’s actually kind of genius if you think about it. The reader experiences the same frustration, uncertainty, and even rage that K. goes through. It’s all so senseless. There were also some genuine laugh out loud moments in this. Kafka’s writing style is so mundane and depressing it circles around to being hilarious.
