This is a quick read with good summaries after each chapter and actionable advice.

However, at one point, the author claims that all needs can be met through nonviolent communication. This is objectively false, as two parties may have very real needs that cannot both be met at the same time. Although this is rarely the case in most garden-variety disputes.

In some passages, the author gets somewhat religious. This, to me, further accentuates the problem that the advice contained in the book is ultimately not scientific.
