UnWholly by Neal Shusterman

4.0

Picking up where UnWind left off, Shusterman has created a riveting second instalment to this trilogy. American society is still deciding on how important the process of unwinding is for its citizens. Meanwhile a new and powerful organization has created a "new" person completely made from part of unwound people and this storyline is deeply disturbing. Connor and Risa have escaped from Happy Jack camp and are committed to saving earmarked teens from being taken away to other camps and have set up a safe haven called "the Graveyard". Lev is still part of the story as he is heralded as a spiritual leader for children who are destined to be tithed. Well-written and full of action and philosophical themes, I highly recommend this novel.
