This series is getting more satisfying as it hits its stride. I’m liking the werewolf stuff more and the vampire stuff stays strong…dare I say this series is actually brining me around to vampires and werewolves! It’s all rules of magic in the end, I suppose. It addressed the PTSD of the last books finale with care so I’m as satisfied as I will ever be with that (which is still not much). Anyways as Mercy builds her chosen family I get more warm and fuzzies, even though I feel like she needs firmer boundaries to be my favorite kind of MC, but maybe that will come with more development.
