Death Dealer is a different type of second chance.
While normally this trope if book is a couple that fell out of love, or were high school romances, this story is of two people who love each other very much but have been separated by choices and circumstances.
I was prepared to really dislike the female main character, and you do at first, but as the story progresses, you see the errors aren’t all hers.
I really enjoyed this novella. The idea of love still winning in a long term relationship with older protagonists was new to see in this genre.
The spice starts early and features heavily. Torch is a fantastic character. I expected to dislike the claiming/reclaiming scene, but it was so good.
