These books are definitely getting to be a little bit too formulaic for me, which as I’ve said in previous of Brown’s books, if you enjoy that sort of thing and it doesn’t bother you too much then you’ll be absolutely fine with it. There’s just something about being able to see where a plot is going before it gets there which is off-putting.
I mean it’s clearly working for Brown so he’s probably not too bothered by it, but it’s just one of those things that I’m not sure will keep me interested for much longer.
