Beyond That, the Sea by Laura Spence-Ash

4.5

After going a little wild with historical fiction a few years ago and burning myself out on the genre, I’ve gotten a lot more selective in the ones I will pick up. And I’m so glad that I made time for this one.

It’s one of those books where you almost forget it’s historical fiction because the storyline is so captivating. I adored this read from start to finish. I just fell in love with the characters and their stories. This was a perfect example of how to make multiple POVs work to actually enrich your story. And as is often the case anymore, I highly recommend the audiobook.
