The Knight and the Moth
by Rachel Gillig
I love books where the setting and atmosphere is a character on it's own. For the second time, Gillig built a wonderfully dark gothic realm I want to live in. Another interesting magic system, I also love stories that involve corrupt religious systems and the people within that break free. I loved all the characters and like everybody else, especially the gargoyle and appreciate that it feels like dialogue done right and audibly lol'd at parts. The ending twist was somewhat predictable but I like when you learn things throughout the book a smidge at a time like the Knight and the Moth being Sybil and Rory or Sybil's two lives as a diviner and a knight. . I can't wait for the next book.
