Splintered is the eighth book in the Unlucky 13 Series, Black Diamond Resort and Spa Shared World. It is a MM, Bi-Awakening Romance.
This is by far the best book I have read out of this series. Splintered is a beautifully written, sometimes funny, sometimes emotionally charged love story. I appreciated how the plot unfolded in a realistic time frame for the character's story. Even though this takes place over a long period of time, I never felt like I was missing any part of the story or that the characters were rushing or taking too long for their actions. There is a lot of spicy scenes in this book, and each and every one of them is brilliantly written into the plot as a necessity.
Though both Devin and Jarrod have found themselves at Black Diamond Resort and Spa at the same time for very similar reasons, their separate journey's to get their could not be more different. I couldn't get enough of the main characters interactions, loving the complexity of emotions each of them showed throughout the story. Devin and Jarrod have easily made it into my type five of book couples this year!
I highly recommend this book to most romance readers, especially those that enjoy a beautiful MM or Bi-Awakening story.
