Jack Smith is quite possibly one of the swooniest men I’ve ever read in my life. I could tell right from the start that he wasn’t what Elsie thought he was. And Elsie did get on my nerves a little bit, but I’m thinking that’s more a result of how she constantly is shape shifting and has no distinct personality than anything else. Which is excellent writing on Hazelwood’s part as that’s what you’re supposed to feel about her.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Toxic relationship, Death of parent
