One Arranged Murder by Chetan Bhagat
4.0

OMG! OMG! OMG!
This sequel is as amazing as the predecessor and it was unputdownable.

As soon as I came to know that this book had come out I was overcome with excitement and I was like *SQUEEE* finally I can plunge right back into Keshav Rajpurohit's world! After the first book The Girl In The Room 105 finished, I had gone through a really bad reading slump and just couldn't get over it. And now I have discovered this gem, I guess it was truly worth the wait. I just didn't give that one extra star because through every twist when you think you finally solved it, it again turns out to be a dead-end which made me want to THROW THE LAPTOP OUTSIDE MY WINDOW!!!

Anyway, back to the review, Keshav Rajpurohit and his best friend, Saurabh aka Golu, going through a very tough time in their friendship as they both are being assholes with each other. Mainly because Keshav is a total shithead for body-shaming Golu's future-wife, Prerna Malhotra, who is a successful owner of an internet startup and belongs to a well to do Punjabi family who appear perfect, prim, and a robust family. Saurabh and Prerna get along very well and are so in love with each other and the one thing that binds them along with their love: food. And Punjabis and food are incomplete without each other. Saurabh has found his true love but Keshav is just a total

But all hell breaks loose when Prerna is found murdered on the rooftop of her house in a posh colony on the night of Karva Chauth ( a Hindu festival where women observe a fast dedicating it to lengthen their husband's life) and when Saurabh is completely shattered emotionally, Keshav steps in forgetting all their arguments and gets to investigating this case for the sake of his
best friend and to gain his forgiveness.

Shocking plot twists and mysteries unravel that the Malhotra family is not very perfect as they appear and hide a lot of dark secrets that make the case more intriguing and puzzling.

After I finished the book I really wished that it should not end so soon but while reading I felt like can they just tell who the murderer is already?! Like why when we have already reached the murderer why are there still like 50 pages left?

Chetan Bhagat's skillful writing and the way he masterfully adds strokes of plot twist and ultimate suspense, this book is an amazing crime thriller which I highly recommend to everyone!
