Book 1 of the Wyn Hockey series follows Theo & Lacey who meet one night in Vegas and a few hours later end up married to A. Help Lacey out of a dangerous situation she is in thanks to her twin brother & B. So Theo can save face when he goes back to live and work near his family after he walked in on his brother JP and his ex together.

Theo is the son & grandson of Hockey legends and had his own Hockey career cut short thanks to an injury and wants to prove himself off the ice, his family is complicated and doesn't always get along so there is added tensions all around. This is a good opposites attract romance in which two people find what they need and a person who balances them out in ways they didn't realise they needed. Lacey & Theo's interactions feel a bit forced in the beginning but that is because they are strangers navigating a quickie marriage and learning about each other, as the story goes on their relationship flows easier and is actually quite sweet.

This was an entertaining, sweet story with a bit of spice thrown in, the secondary characters are numerous so it can be hard to keep track of them and their dynamics at times but there is definitely potential for drama going forward in the other books of the series. I came across this in the Audible Plus catalogue so it is included in your membership so doesn't cost a credit to listen to, it is narrated by Kasha Kensington & Alexander Cendese and I enjoyed their performances as always. 🌶.5
