I decided to try the Riley Thorn series, and it's definitely different from the other Lucy Score books I've read. It has more humor and less spice but still stays true to her writing style.
Riley is a psychic who doesn't want to use her "gifts." Her neighbor gets murdered and she meets Nick, the PI who is snooping around on the case. Many twists and turns with lots of banter and humor. It also has nice character-building with descriptive parts that don't go way too overboard.
A 4-star read for sure.
