Bleeding Edge by Thomas Pynchon

Did I read this, or did it wash over me as I lay down face first in the Deep Web? Though probably not the book I should have been reading 10 pages at a time before I fell asleep at night (weird dreams, and failure to understand or connect the plot/characters in any way), it's also probable that that would have happened no matter when I read the book. You know how you feel about Pynchon by now anyway.
P.S. Enjoyed that his typical spunky lady heroine is a mother in this one.
