The final book wraps up the series nicely. We get our HEA and a satisfying ending.
Overall, I loved this series. I love the we get a deep dive into this magical world filled with incredible character development and world building. The characters have depth and flaws that make them feel realistic in a way that many fantasy books do not. We see true growth in them.
All that said, my one major complaint is that it was very repetitive and long. This definitely needed to be edited down as there were parts that were unnecessary to the plot.
I enjoyed seeing how much both MCs change and grow throughout the book, becoming more powerful, yet vulnerable.
