Catherine is the real villain of this story. The fact that she faked her death in child birth & let this man believe that she & HIS CHILD were dead for 60 years is so unbelievable. & the fact that he forgave her?? This book tried to be this big tragic love story but it just pissed me off. The other characters were cute but everything felt very surface level even tho you could tell the author was trying to make it deep. 

It did convince me to read Wuthering Heights tho so that’s good.
