This book was so cozy! Autumn is my favourite season, so to be in a lake-side inn as the leaves are turning is a dream. I found Zach and Madison believable as a couple, and it was clear how much they yearned for each other. I also liked their shared history; the memories were really nostalgic and endearing.
I always find the miscommunication trope tricky, but I found this particularly niggly because it didn’t seem to stem from anything besides their personalities. That said, they were able to talk through it eventually, so all’s well that ends well.
I am *very* excited for the next book; winter? Liam? I’m there 🎄❄️
