Julia Quinn is a master when it comes to writing dialogue and interesting historical romance characters. I loved Kate and Anthony’s dynamic and chemistry. Their banter was so cute. I loved how their romance developed in what’s essentially an enemies to lovers sort of situation. While I wouldn’t say the sex was the hottest thing I’ve read, I did enjoy them. Perhaps my only complaint is that I rolled my eyes over how they ended up getting married.
