Since when does Laine have braces? Did they add those in to make her more accessible? SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE SUPER COOL, I DONT WANT HER TO BE ACCESSIBLE. Also, why is Kristy blond?
I grew up with this series and it was kind of weird seeing the characters illustrated, because the girls were always older than I was and in my head they're older, and I've forgotten how little twelve and thirteen-year-olds are.
I still want to read the actual book, though. It's just not the same without the little taglines on the covers.
