I thoroughly enjoyed Mandanna’s last book so I came to this with high expectations, but I have to say that this book is even more heartfelt, complex, and charming than the last. The whole cast of found family feels perfectly imperfect and whole. I loved the reminders to look for magic in the everyday. My heart needed this book and I’m so glad it exists.
