I thought this was sweet.
Marnie is tough and stoic and used to doing everything on her own so it's done the right way.
Gem seems like she could be fun and awesome to hang with.
I actually wish this was longer so we could see her personality come through more, and find out why her work colleague had such a problem with her.
I didn't quite buy their relationship because of their vast personality differences. Maybe if the book had been drawn out, we would have seen more and it would make sense.
Still, it was a great read.
