Atomic Anna by Rachel Barenbaum

5.0

We chose this as our temple's book group selection for June, and the story was a great antidote to a whole lot of bad stuff going on in the real world outside the pages. I loved learning more and more about the three generations of women and different types of families portrayed - adoptive, blood-related, and romantic entanglements. I love that all three main characters had the agency to make changes in their lives. This was a book filled with decisions galore, and it was fun watching to see what choices the characters would make. The second half of the book really picked up in intensity, and I had a hard time putting it down.
