Black Like Me
by John Howard Griffin
I first read this book in middle school and remember that it had a great influence on me, but had forgotten the details. When I saw it at a used book store last week, I jumped at the chance to read it again, and was glad I did. Through adult eyes, it moved me again. The parallels between happenings in the book and in present day society are horrifying (have we not learned? I guess not). This book should be required reading for all humans.
