And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
2.0
I never imagined I'd say this, but I didn't find the writing enjoyable. I realize it's an unpopular opinion, given this author is only outsold by the bible.
The premise intrigued me, drawing me to the book initially, but the actual reading felt like a never-ending task, despite its short size.
The actual intrigue was lacking, and I guessed the plot twist right away, which was disappointing.
However, I'm still curious about trying one of her Hercule Poirot novels to see if my experience differs.
