Adulting by Liz Talley
5.0
I enjoyed this book more than I initially thought I would.
When I picked it out from the Editor’s Choice section of my Kindle Unlimited, the characters sounded utterly unlikable. And they were, especially in the beginning. But, as I continued to read, I began to really love them.
There were times when Talley’s writing style annoyed me (the word “dope” was used several times during the narration) but overall, I enjoyed the shift in focus found in this book. It was a refreshing, albeit heavy, change to read something that only lightly focused on romance.
