A rooster that fights giant demon monsters. I had no idea that’s as the premise when I went into this series but it spells it out real quick that this is literally a give no effs rooster taking down demon monsters as big as cities and taking care of business!!! He is avenging his slain sister at the hands of one of these monsters so there is purpose. The action makes this read super quickly and he does have some spicy scenes with a chicken so I’d say this is upper HS teen with the violence and all, but I also found it utterly delightful and will definitely be reading more.
