Two estranged twins, one amnesia-stricken spy plot, and a whole lot of action-packed chaos. When a woman wakes up on the streets of Paris with no memory and is told she’s a rogue spy being hunted, she has no choice but to trust the grumpy, protective operative who claims to be her only shot at survival. Cue secret missions, high-speed chases, and sparks flying as they race to uncover the truth.
The action, the banter, the humor, the swooning?! I really enjoyed this one. It was the perfect mix of fast-paced thrills and just the right amount of romance. After reading The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year, I knew I wanted to explore Ally Carter’s other books, and this one delivered. The tension between the leads was red-hot (closed door, but wow was it electric!). Highly recommend if you want a romance with heart-pounding action and witty back-and-forth.
