Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

I went into this book expecting a YA thriller, but it’s unfolding to be more of a YA contemporary with elements of romance and mystery, which is not what I was looking for. I also really do not like the fake dating trope and am not invested in the main relationship. In 2022 I’m prioritizing reading books I’m really interested in and allowing myself to DNF books without guilt.
