Ok, let's get this out of the way first: MIND THE TW LIST, FRIENDS. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about when they mentioned that the TW list was at the back of the book, but I have noticed that sometimes Kindle skips over the dedication (and thus, the TW list) and starts you off at page 1. So consider this a reminder that when you're picking up a dark romance.. it's important to be mindful.

Now that that is out of the way.. on to the review!

I LOVED this book. It's absolutely not for everyone—it's a morally-black, dark, paranomal romance, after all—but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My 5-star ratings are given to books that have "stuck" with me. Ones that I can't stop thinking about, or ones that I feel the urge to own a physical copy of. And this is definitely one of those books. I really enjoyed the, erm.. variety of spicy scenes presented, which included a very wide range of dark kinks. We're talking breath play, primal play, and even a piercing scene (with shadows, for extra spice!)

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was the fact that it ended on a cliffhanger, because I want to know what happens!
