honestly, ito’s works haven’t hit the way people keep telling me they would hit but this story has probably come the closest! it has that skin crawling haunting vibe that i’ve wanted. i’m honestly surprised that it’s so lowly rated compared to his other works. maybe it’s because this one is a bit more goofy?
