Content warning: sexual assault, suicide hotline

I had the opportunity to listen to the novella through Libro.fm and I am so happy I did because it was so good! Lucinda Berry has a way of keeping me interested and engaged throughout the story even when I know who is guilty. It was super dark and it motivated me to fold all my laundry.

Felicia, a single mother and lawyer by day, volunteers at a local crisis center to give back to her tight knit community in a small Wisconsin town. One night, a phone call turns her life upside down: through tears, a frantic teenage girl tells her that she was a victim of sexual assault at a local house party.
