shadeylaine 's review for:
The Betrayal,
by R.L. Stine
Four stars for the nostalgia and that Goosebumps feeling. I read a lot of fear street as a kid/young teen and I remember feeling so adult reading them because they were truly scary. Reading these now before the movies come out next month and the terror does not hold up. Although R.L. Stine does craft some truly creepy imagery, it reads like a dark book for tweens (which is what it is).
