I’m rating this book purely on how it made me feel.
It was such a lovely setting, with a fun mystery thrown in, that it was perfect for a short out of town trip. I liked the slow, emotional growth of Tamara, and her pretty realistic reactions to the people and things happening around her. I wish it hadn’t made Rosaleen such a clear cut villain, and given more insight and depth into the reasons she did what she did. I would have also loved to spend more time with Arthur and the sisters. Overall, very fun story despite the dark themes touched on occasionally throughout.
The ending was satisfying but also made me want more - corny, but I’d love to see this on screen as a limited series or movie.
