Another great instalment in the Bow Street Duchess series.
4.5 stars.
This was a fast paced mystery, picking up a few months after the events of book 4. Audrey is now dealing with ‘widowhood’ and has not seen Hugh in months, due to her ‘mourning’ period. Secrets are revealed that test their commitment to each other (can’t say anymore, read it, it’s good) while they investigate the kidnapping of Audrey’s sister.
All the wonderful side characters are present and the overarching love story moves forward as they solve crimes together.
Overall a great, satisfying read, that -as always- makes me anxious for the next one.

if you read the previous books, her husband executed his plan to fake his own deathAll the wonderful side characters are present and the overarching love story moves forward as they solve crimes together.
Overall a great, satisfying read, that -as always- makes me anxious for the next one.
