Such a great dystopian novel! I can’t wait to pick up the second book. I would’ve gave it a higher rating, but some thing about the underlying tone of ‘this was a result of women empowerment movements” didn’t sit right with me LOL. It’s quite easy to read these female dystopian novels and think to yourself, “well, this would never happen to us”, but looking at the recent events in the US… let’s just say I wouldn’t be surprised.
