Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
4.0

One of those AC books where the end just leaves you flabbergasted in the best possible way.

See now there are certain books of Christie's that you read and you take a minute to appreciate her pure mastermind. This is one of those books that you read and take an hour to admire Hercule Poirot's genius and suave.

Hercule Poirot's this genius with a sense of humour and compassion and once you familiarize yourself with his quirks and elements that are so unique to him, you just can't stop adoring this little Belgian detective.

The story took a bit of time to build up and there were quite a rush or characters and it was a bit hard to keep track of. But the author made it work eventually. Once the crime had been committed it was a series of interviews after interviews and it was so fun trying to play detective to characters in a book. You get to read everyone's account of things and you get to pick and pull apart info and see details in different light and try and come to your own conclusions and end up feeling like a fool regardless, bcoz Agatha Christie is an unbeatable queen of surprises.

Bottom line: This was worth reading.
