rebekagiroux 's review for:
Silent Victim
by Caroline Mitchell
This book was painful for me to read...but only because, due to my schedule, I could only read it for a few minutes at a time.
I found the story itself to be mesmerising. I was sucked in from page one. The constant turns kept me on the edge of my seat. Normally, I am very good at figuring out the ending long before I'm even close to the end. With this book, I was left guessing until the final pages.
The writing style is very comprehensible and well done. The editing was near perfect, leaving five or less mistakes and only near the very end of the book. I had planned on giving five stars, but those few mistakes did cost one.
I would read this again and would definitely recommend it.
P.S.
I see so many reviews saying that it's totally unrealistic for her to have done this one thing near the end. However, I can understand her thinking in that situation and I would say that it's not unthinkable.
