I absolutely adored this book. I read it in one sitting and I was just absorbed by Kit and Henry’s story.
You do not have to have foreknowledge of the previous books of the series as this is my first book by this author and it will not be my last.
The characters of this book are both so sweet and endearing. Henry’s kind heartedness and Kit’s determination to demand restitution was so sigh worthy.
Henry is willing to do whatever Kit wants because he truly loved Kit and felt bad and Kit just can’t turn him away.
The writing is beautiful and you are there in the time period.
I can’t think of anything else to say. I’m still sighing.
