a sweet story

Heather agrees with her friends ti go out for the night to see one of their favorite bands perform. She is called up onstage by her childhood celebrity crush and he asks to meet her after the concert. They meet for a one night stand. Heather runs away but it leaves Eli wanting more. He pursues her and wants to win her over. Heather doesn’t have time for a relationship. She is divorced, while her ex is her boss at the police department and she is the sole caretaker for her sister. Eli doesn’t let let stand in her way.

This story had me emotional the way only Corinne knows how. I really loved Eli wanting Heather to call him by his given name when no one else does. Eli just wants to be there in the sweetest and most endearing ways possible when Heather is at her lowest.

The audible narration for Stephanie’s part was phenomenal. Each tremor and quake in her voice gave so much depth to the character.
