This Is Our Story by Ashley Elston

2.0

Parts were engaging, and I did keep reading because I wanted to know what happened, but I kept expecting more of a shocking plot twist in the end. The biggest problem is pretty much all of the characters are flat so it’s difficult to care about any of them. Plus, the way the main character inserts herself into investigation of the murder case and basically becomes a camera-wielding spy was ridiculous. The concept, though, of an impenetrable bro-code felt frustratingly real, even if the individual friends involved with the crime did not.
