The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion

3.5

There were so many good lines to annotate!

Though the first half of the book was hard to get into(-1.5⭐️), the latter half made my heart grieve and shatter into pieces. I have never read something so detailed around grieving. All these years I thought it was a single step process. You grieve, you move on. But Didion told me otherwise. This book made me retrospect what I know about grief and how I see it.

I think someday I'll reread this one.
